SONY VG20

In addition to two new cams the NEX7 and the Alpha 77, what i am looking forward to is the SONY VG10 which is the replacement for the previous VG10 which was clearly as rushed production from SONY. Missing all the vital elements, the VG20 seems to be the answer to all the problems in the last model. Spotting a better sensor now with more sensitivity, it is clearly a better low light camcorder with also more manual controls as well as practical places you will find one. I would have preferred a bigger LCD screen though but the camcorder evidently shares the same chassis as the VG10 with all the improvements. a manual dial for iris controls and screen that can now flip all the way instead of its predecessor. A few interesting touch screen functions like focus tracking as well as touch focus. Again i wish they came with a dual memory slot which i can clearly see is still not available or it will most definitely give the XA10 the run for its money!
Clearly getting my hands on the VG10 soonest and will give you an in depth of what i think about this interchangeable lens camcorder pitted against the other DSLR shooters.
The VG20 will also come with an option to purchase without the lens kit which will give you a savings of around $500 dollars. This is especially useful for those like me who already own a VG10 as well as a FS100 which comes with the very same kit lens. I am just hoping that there will be an option for other lenses bundle with the body which will be most helpful.
