Apple quietly launched the new FCPS3. They have some kinda SWIPES transition which allow Alphas to be used. Dunno how to discribe. Take a look at the test videos.

Motion 4 looks very cool. Obviously hitting on AE. Still not there yet but looks like APPLE is serious in offering an alternative. Lots of new templates everywhere in this release. Still no direct BLUEray encoding. But at least compressor now offers a BR stream creation.

No you can throw your EX1 files on the timeline it seems eh?

No worries...in the mac world...we also have Avid other than FCP. Tongue
So it's not really considered exclusive lah.

But if u talk to me about Sony Vegas, Premiere, Edius, etc...I'd be quite lost.

Hey Guys,

Just got my hands into buying a old G5 but with a FCS 1 included.
So, looks like i will be getting the FCS3 afterall. (upgrade version)
Not bad at all for less than $500/- Now to save $$$ to buy the Nehalem 8 Cores... Undecided to
complete the equation.
