Day One (Theory & Familiarisation) (approximately 6 hours)
 
The Theory & Familiarisation class starts in our studio and an instructor will take you through the theoretical section, explaining in detail each prepared syllabus will help in enhance your video making experience.
 
Thist theory section will last about 3 - 4 hours and aims to enhance the individual's knowledge of videography as well as the art of executing good movement, handling difficult situations as well as advance compositions techniques.

The Familiarisation exercise section aims to get the individual accustomed to the controls of the camcorder & equipment and putting it's functionality to effective use.
 
This section usually lasts about two hours and with an introduction to the smooth moves and techniques involved in video production. Practice and evaluation sessions of the techniques which will be then executed on day two Field Class.
 
If you have your own video camcorder, we highly recommend you to bring this along where we will take you through a complete orientation of your camcorder and it's features. There is no better training than understanding how to use your own equipment to it's full potential. As the saying goes a good carpenter will only use his very own tools.

Day Two (Field Class) (approximately 6 hours)
The Field class will be held usually at a place of interest within the geographical limit of Singapore ( example, Jurong Birdpark, Singapore Zoo, Sungei Buloh, Botanical Gardens, Esplanade etc)

Students will practice videography techniques as well as seek to refine existing skills during this class. Students will learn how to assess real-life shooting situations and learn how to employ workarounds & solutions when difficult and challenging situations arise.
 
The Field class is an excellent training ground for the individual to gain experience also on what he has been taught from Day One.
 
It will also provide those who own their individual camcorder, a hands on experience in maximizing the features found on their respective camcorder.

An instructor will guide you along the class and will be on hand to answer as well as constantly give pointers as you progress throught the session shoot.
 
Your footage will be assessed at the end of the session where constructive criticisim will be given (pointing out good & bad points of your shooting style) and how you can improve your videography skills.
 
A VideoLifestyle certification and instruction/ reference CD is included upon completion of this course. (Please note that the certificate is an in-house certification)
