Canon EOS C300

The battle has finally begun! The EOS C300 from Canon is going to be the next big thing. Sporting a Super35mm
Sensor. It is said to be priced around USD$20k for body alone. There is a PL and EF body version so take your pick!
Shoots up to 5O mbits and wraps into the .mxf file format which is compatible accross the
board of popular NLEs. Recording is also possible and done on CF Cards. The camera comes with two compact flash slots.

Time Code Embed, Shoots in 1080 progressive and also has SDI output capability for those who own their NANOs and NINJAs. Great News!!! Clearly a camera that is hear to compete against the SONY F3 super 35mm. Wow! isn’t the future looking promising for
filmakers but clearly sad for the bank account…
