Videolifestyle.com hopes to provide the serious hobbyist, video junkie, professional videographer, editor and amateur film maker as many interesting solutions to quench the editing thirst.

Our aim is to provide video editing solutions, video editing courses, videography training, total video system integrations, all with a ‘one stop’ in mind.

We hope to organize video expeditions to exotic locations at the same time also to provide learning opportunities for those wish to shoot and edit good video and produce first class productions.

My hobbies span over a range of visual horizons and not only do I enjoy shooting video, producing, directing and editing, my passion also lies very strongly in shooting stills, music and teaching. The extensive knowledge I have gained all these years being in the industry and also specializing in the sale and recommendation of these products.

My expertise with the NLE industry is one that goes way back. Specializing in the intergration as well as sales, I was very active with names such as Pinnacle Pro One, DV500, Matrox 2000, Mpegator, Canopus Storm, Broadway Card, Targa and even such products as Topaz & Elastic Reality.

I am simply crazy and bonkers when it comes to technology and this is the continuous energy that drive the madness I possess in video cameras, video productions, peripherals as well as shooting short films and documentaries.

I will travel at any cost to shoot video and I will also not hesitate to buy any new camera even before the latter hits the shelves.

In the last decade or so, i have personally own no less than 40 video camcorders as well as no less than 40 digital cameras ranging from professional, semi professional as well as consumer range. Some cameras, i would only purchase test & review and sell within the very same week.

SDMA (School Digital Media Awards)

We are also specialize in the facilitation for

schools who intend to participate in the School Video Awards, now known as the School Digital Media Awards. Some of the other competitions are the Canon DV Fest as well as the National Junior Robotics etc.

Assisting primary as well as secondary students, our task is to instill interest, confidence as well as promote team effort within groups.

The journey begins with the facilitation of teaching the students first the fundamentals of camera handling including scripting, conceptualisation as well as lighting and sound.

The last in the process of which is post production before the submission. The schools that we work very closely with are Tanjong Katong Secondary School as well as Rulang Primary School.

Students One Day Film School

Conducting a one day film school here with some

secondary two students. One of my biggest ambition is educating the young and I enjoy it thoroughly.

Some of the schools I have had the opportunity to work with in the past are NORTHBROOKS SECONDARY, TANJONG KATONG SECONDARY, KRANJI SECONDARY and also RULAND PRIMARY SCHOOL, GREENVIEW SECONDARY.

Always a pleasure and challenge for me when it comes to

training and teaching students the power of digital media. The creative juices the students possess today is amazing and indeed most of whom I have encountered have the potential to be very creative directors, producers one fine day.

Official Launch of the SONY V1E

I was invited by SONY BROADCAST to give a presentation to their invited guest about my user experience on High Definition Video and also the new SONY V1E and also the DR-60 HDD.

Without a scripted nor prepared presentation, I delivered my presentation with a honest but true account about my experience with HDV. At the same time I presented a short clip for the audience entitled " HDV Kill" shot by the SONY V1

SONY CINESCORE LAUNCH

Venue: Orchard Library Branch

I had the honour to launch the new SONY CINESCORE 1.0

at the ORCHARD LIBRARY this year. A software that allows you to score your own music to your video.

Using our very own VIDEOLIFESTYLE high

quality video footages, the presentation focused

mainly on different genres of videos that allowed

the crowd to experience the simplicity and

also the power of this affordable software solution.

The launch drew a mixed crowd of young and old

and also offered special show prices from AONE Multimedia

who were on hand to provide the sales onsite.

Vegas Movie Studio Launch

When the new Vegas Movie Studio Platinum was lauched by SONY MEDIA, I help to launch this product to an astounding turnout at the

ORCHARD PARADE HOTEL.

This was the first time I recruited students of mine

to produce a short film call "THE THIEF" for the launch of this product. The entire production was shot wihout script and rehersal in under 5 hours.

Shot entirely using only small camcorders, the crowd was delighted with the different approach adopted from the usual EXTREME SPORT FOOTAGES used in such launches.

Conducted with a different twist, the seminar ended more as an educational experience for those who attended the launch. Ulead Video Studio 9 professional features were the key highlights for the event such a one click producer as well as the one click DVD feature and much more.
