My hobbies span over a range of visual horizons and not only do I enjoy shooting video, producing, directing and editing, my passion also lies very strongly in shooting stills, music and teaching. The extensive knowledge I have gained all these years being in the industry and also specializing in the sale and recommendation of a wide array of video related products.

My expertise with the NLE arena dates back all the way to the nineties. Specializing in the intergration of turnkey systems as well as sales or many NLE products, I was very active with products such as the Pinnacle Pro One, DV500, Matrox 2000, Mpegator, Canopus Storm, Broadway Card, Targa and even such products as Topaz & Elastic Reality.

I am simply crazy and bonkers when it comes to technology and this is the continuous energy that drive this madness I possess in video cameras, video productions, peripherals as well as shooting short films and documentaries.

SDMA (School Digital Media Awards)

We are also specialize in the facilitation for

schools who plays an active participation in the School Video Awards, now known as the School Digital Media Awards. Some of the other competitions are the Canon DV Fest as well as the National Junior Robotics etc.

Assisting primary as well as secondary students, our task is to instill interest, confidence as well as promote team effort within groups.

The journey begins with the facilitation of teaching the students first the fundamentals of camera handling techniques followed by pre production,scripting, conceptualisation as well as lighting and sound.

The last in the process of which is post production before the submission. The schools that we work very closely with are Tanjong Katong Secondary School as well as Rulang Primary School.

Vegas Movie Studio Launch

When the new Vegas Movie Studio Platinum was lauched by SONY MEDIA, I help to launch this product to an astounding turnout at the

ORCHARD PARADE HOTEL.

This was the first time I recruited students of mine

to produce a short film call "THE THIEF" for the launch of this product. The entire production was shot wihout a script and rehersal

in under 5 hours.

Shot entirely using only small camcorders, the crowd was delighted with the different approach adopted from the usual EXTREME SPORT FOOTAGES used in such launches.

Official Launch of the SONY V1E

I was invited by SONY BROADCAST to give a presentation to their invited guests on my user experience on High Definition Video and also the new SONY V1E and also the DR-60 HDD recording module.

Without a script nor a prepared presentation, I delivered my presentation with an honest but true account about my experience with HDV.

At the same time I presented a short clip for the audience entitled " HDV Kill" shot by the SONY V1 which ended in the demise of the SONY FX1

TOYS R EX3 -The Movie

A video I produced for Expandore Electronics featuring all the goodies that are available for my Sony EX3.

I scripted the idea and production was assisted by two of my trusted proteges, Alvin and Roger. Shot on location at Expandore Electronics, the shoot was not only fun but at the same time very informative for many looking for a solution for their camcorders. Many products such as microphone, steadicam devices,led lighting,rain jackets, HD recording units as well as introduced.

Conducted with a different twist, the seminar ended more as an educational experience for those who attended the launch. Ulead Video Studio 9 professional features were the key highlights for the event such a one click producer as well as the one click DVD feature and much more.

It is my usual for me to give presentations as well as talks in various statutory boards and organisations.

The talk above was presented to music teachers from various schools and organized by the theeducation ministry of Singapore. Short of becoming a teacher myself, I am indeed happy to be able to share my knowlege as well as expertise in this vasst world of digital media.

My belief is that education starts as early as pre-school and here you can see me sharing my passion, knowledge with kids from the

Eton House International School.

A yearly pilgrimage for these kids ranging from ages 7-9, I have given talks like the one above for two consecutive years straight as well as over 80 children.

Screening a couple of clips and at the same time, producing a live production, beats any classroom lesson in my opinion.

So,if this is not a rewarding job, then i don't know what is?
